I personally would not touch anything made by hotpoint or their sister companies with a bargepole. They are alright till something goes wrong, but then they are a nightmare. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I've got a hotpoint washer drier....it's ok nothing special, certainly had better with my previous one.
We found ours needed a repair just outside of its guarantee which we had done and had no other problems since...but I wouldn't automatically go for hotpoint again.

Thanks for your replies... The washer I have now is hotpoint and I've had it nearly 12 years and not a problem which is why I automatically looked for a similar model. I wouldn't be swapping if I hadn't chosen to integrate my appliances whilst redoing the kitchen,0
