If you were unjustly told no then it's a very good tactic to get a resolution. I often complain via social media - companies invariably give a much quicker response time and are more likely to resolve it satisfactorily. (Not that I post photos of employees with snarky comments!)0 -
Hi
If the Driver had said to us, no i cant take you because my bus is full or something else personally would not have any problem with it
So you did have a problem with what happened! Despite saying that a 45 minute wait "didnt really bother us". It clearly DID bother you.The Only back chat we gave to him was we wanted to know
The reason why he would not take us on
Ok...- all we did was we showed him the ticket and asked him nicely can we take this bus because our ticket says we can take an earlier bus, to which he replied "No" then we asked him any reason why are you full or anything. Then he replied "Listen don't tell me how to do my job your ticket says for so and so time i am not going to take you"
Why did you ask if it was valid if you were confident that it was valid?
Why were you bothered about being turned away if it "didnt really bother us"?
Either you are in the wrong for trying to travel on a bus which you couldn't (and being a smart !!!! by asking whether the bus was full), or the bus driver was a jobsworth who was probably put on the defensive by your questioning.
I would be inclined to defend the bus driver's actions up to this point... Either you were in the wrong or you have attempted to undermine him (even if you were in the right, your questioning was a bit silly). All we wanted to know what the reason was thats it, if he said i got a full bus then thats fine would have been ok with it
You admitted that he said the reason was that your ticket was invalid.... Why are you chatting about a full bus?!, but the way he responded was very rude and verbally agressive.
That's all subjective!
MAYBE rude I can buy into, but surely not verbally aggressive. Was he calling you names, swearing, shouting or anything like that? Probably not in fairness... I get the impression he was just a rude jobsworth who MAY have been in the right.I personally have no idea why he refused us...surely its courtesy to just give us a simply reason...
Like stating that your ticket is invalid for that time?he definitely wasn't doing a bus run considering he came back 45 mins later with no passengers just to take a picture of us and climb on our bus. (The End point we were going to was a total time of 1hour 15mins) so who knows what he was doing during that period and why he came back.
Without being there, I cannot comment on this. ONE possibility is that the bus driver was wronged by you and simply had to abandon his duties to photo you and (eventually) serve you a libel letter.
Third parties can only speculateReason why we took a picture of his number plate is we wanted to report the driver for him behaving like this surely some good customer service wont hurt?
a 45 minute wait "didnt really bother us"
Aside from that, what did you expect from reporting the driver by use of the licence plate?
Also, if the bus was used by multiple drivers then do you think that they would be able to verify the exact date/time in which the photo was taken?
Your action here appears to be a bit petty to try and grind the gears of the driver.Second driver allowed us to go on the bus, but this was our actual bus time but like i mentioned
so we had no issues here
I meant AFTER the photo was taken....
What dialogue happened there? Two bus drivers for the same company... Surely the 1st driver said something to the 2nd?0 -

who put you in charge?
If you don't have anything worthwhile to add to the thread why bother posting?0 -

Is it really necessary for you to be so unhelpful to the OP as you usually are?0 -

Do you know why I'm really really gutted?
I posted 350 words in reply to the 295 words which OP posted
I suppose a 350 word response, kindly addressing each point, is "massively long" in comparison to a 295 word one... Such is this forum!
I think OP's story needs picking apart because there is a possible libel case against them, and it needs to be determined whether or not it is legitimate. But in fairness, if you have anything constructive to add to counteract my logic then be my guestI am only trying to help in a blunt kind of way. Trying to determine whether or not OP is being factual, and whether they caused any of the issues.
As for quoting me as saying "snip", that's a big ignorant. You know what the difference between you and me is? I'll sit there and read someone's post and approach it critically, considering all points. That's why I didn't quote it as "snip", but rather address all of the points. IF I'm wrong then fair enough! I'm not perfect. But hopefully it helps to facilitate discussion/thinking.0 -

Sounds to me like that old Roman thingy what was it called ??? A Forum .
ps I thought your reply summed up the position and should give the OP food for thought re libel .0 -
