As predicted. Another useless post from you.0 -
Very little apparently.
There is a lot of work in it so unless there is serious manpower present then five days is not realistic.
Who's to say there won't be serious manpower?
I had a 3 bed house rewired in less than 8 hours by a team of 6, its not uncommon to do it that way and I would definitely recommend it over days and days of disruption. I didn't pay any more, but sadly I'm not in your area OP to make a recommendation for you.0 -
Because it would make it impossible to work in a house tripping over all the people for a start.Person_one wrote: »Who's to say there won't be serious manpower?
I can assure you that your "8 hour" job wouldn't have been to any brilliant standard - I'm guessing social housing with surface wiring everywhere.0 -

Don't they travel then ? Surprised they get enough work for six electricians domestic in one area ?Person_one wrote: »Who's to say there won't be serious manpower?

Only ones I’ve heard doing this are those that started up when the third party cert scheme was introduced (NAPIT, Storma) Normally there is one “electrician” the rest not? Although napit had conditions( present at first & second fix etc ) Storma were far more pay the fee and can write you name jobs a good un ?
Nic etc opted out with the line of “If you can’t check, test and inspect your own work you should not be carrying out the work in the first place”. Also as scheme wasn’t UKAS accredited meaning that there will be no independent verification that the third party scheme operators are performing to the required standards. They were not interested ”,
Do insurance companies included third party certification in their cover now ? If it goes pear shaped, a con etc as there on site a day and gone cant really see if they have done what they should have ( e.g, lots of shiny face plates nowt else) Those taking longer could do also but each evening you can see the quality or not of there work? Also as many think of something they have forgotten want added Tricky if there in and out?
What did they charge you ?
What certs did you get?
What were terms deposit and balance on completion?
