All estate agents in my area have a sign "No Housing Benefit" at the front door. If there were landlords accepting HB, there wouldn't be people sleeping on the floor in my area and other areas.
It can be difficult but there are also estate agents who specialise in renting to HB tenants. If it were totally impossible, nobody would be claiming HB and there would be thousands more homeless.0
