does anyone know what are tel no.s that start with 0070 i have had 2 missed calls with no.s starting like these i am reluctant to ring them back incase they charge a bomb......

I thought numbers beginning with 00 were international!

ive had a few of these numbers this week
phone does 1 ring then hangs up
dont ring back as its a con to rip your credit or worse if your on contract

thanks for that drahir i thought that also, yeah i have two rings then a hang up off the both no.s that have rang... i have no intention of ringing back my motto is 'if its important they will ring back'

This is a well-known scam using 'personal numbers' in the 070xx range. The cost up to 49p/min to call from a BT landline. If you call them back, they will put you on hold indefinitely!
