Talk talk mis sold

Good Morning all,
I signed up to talktalk UFO in York on march 23rd, our actual install date was April 21st as the first date the fiber box outside was broken and city fiber had to come and fix that first.
When the sales guy came round he asked what we had at the time which was the big kahuna pack minus sports with virgin. He went through the details of the talk talk offer showed us a folder with all the channels we could get including sky atlantic (i knew only sky had the channel) and told us we'd get all of the same including hd movies for £36.70 a month. He even confirmed that our right to cancel was 20 days from the go live date.
Needless to say we signed up there and then. We'd have been saving £94 a month which was more then worth it for faster bb and the same tv packages. So April 21st arrives everything's set up and the engineers leave. I then notice that half of what we were told and signed up for was actually via boosts? which meant another £17.50 on our bill.
Spoke to sky this morning as i wanted to know what their price would be for an extra box, which the rep at talk talk said would be available in a few months, and full HD with out the sports its slightly more but im willing to swap. Now as i was lead to believe im still in my 20 days to cancel as the rep said the 20 days was from the go live date I rang talktalk only to be told that the 20 days was from march 23rd not april 27th (we didn't even have any service till then so while we were waiting our right to cancel was being whittled away with out our knowledge) Now apparently I'll have to pay cancellation fees?
The customer rep i spoke to this morning is going to talk to his manager first then ring me back however i don't believe i should pay any fee's as i have only had service with talk talk since April 21st.
Does anybody have any info on mis selling cancellation please?
Thank you in advance
Sachelle
