Vodafone PAYG refund????

Hi I am looking for an answer to what should be a simple question.
If you are a PAYG vodafone customer, you leave vodafone with credit on your PAYG account, are you entitled to a refund of that credit. I have had various answers from vodafone themselves: No // Yes but you will need to go to the store // yes but you will need to speak to the retentions team. Vodafone have perfected this circular loop system where you are always told to go somewhere else for an answer to your problem, even if that somewhere else is just where you have came from.
Having been told no to a refund I thought I would donate the credit, by text, to charity. Then being unable to do so asked vodafone why I was unable to do so. They could not give an explanation, so I asked to be put through to someone to make a complaint only to be told they don't have a complaints department. The only way you can complain direct to vodafone, a telecommunicatios firm is by old fashioned letter.

Sorry for the rant, but are you entitled to a refund? Thanks:mad::mad::mad:

No, and it's the same for all networks, not just Vodafone.

Was not able to use my phone where I live to use up credit as no signal. Was changing to another provider that did have a signal and PAC to my new sim was happening next day. Vodafone could not explain why I could not donate credit to charity and now they get to keep it. Effectively they are stopping my money getting to a charity and keeping it for themselves.
I found the resolver site earlier on and am going to try that.
