Just because they have lost the contract doesn't mean they won't keep trying to scam you. The opposite has happened with other PPCs when they have lost contracts and intensified their efforts.
Expect lots of bog paper from Smart and debt collectors for up to five years.
Totally agree, although I'd suspect that Smart will concentrate their efforts south of the border; far easier when you can, (or attempt to), use POFA.
However , it also means that Asda remains legally responsible for the actions of their agent for the next five years as well.0
