Over refunded for part cancelled order

I placed an order online and the next day cancelled part of it. I was told I would have the cancelled amount refunded to my card but they have actually refunded the full amount. Do I have to pay up the difference when they have made the mistake?

They've got 6 years to reclaim it. They will doubtlessly spot it when they reconcile their accounts.

now a lot depends on the value

if it was about £1 , buy a small loaf of bread

if it was 30 million pounds buy a porche!

or be honest and give them the correct amount back

Maybe th cancelled the whole order by mistake and that's why the full refund was generated.

Wonder if anything will arrive at all?

It depends on how honest you are and whether or not you have any integrity.

You'll get loads of keyboard warriors on here telling you how terrible it is if you just keep quiet, when the truth is that the vast majority of them would do just that.

But these so-called "keyboard warriors" wouldn't be dumb enough to create threads asking the bleedin obvious.

You shouldn't judge others based on your own integrity or lack of it. You have no idea what others would do, not to worry making a judgement about your made up 'vast majority'.
