I am not going to reply in detail because most of what your say is just whinging because you fell for saleman's patter.
Many people work on Commission, some work on Commission only, it is a perfectly legitimate way to do business.
There is a thing called "Caveat Emptor" . [Let the buyer beware.]
So the more you beech about being stung the more you make yourself sound foolish.
Then you make these silly comments about investigations and bookmark your home page as if anyone really gives a damn, then don't because this is a consumer forum and they are not likely to be at risk.
So start off with a reasonable demand, it is the only thing you said that makes sense...That commission should be declared.
I would also suggest a 28 cooling off period as this is a 5 year contract.
Those are reasonable requests and you could contact your MP or Chamber of Commerce, but drop the whole scam thing because it is not a scam.
I have sold services that cost me $25 for $3000, the customer had a perceived value, I was able to demonstrate benefits to his biz that made $3k a drop in the ocean, he was happy, I was happy. The fact that I only paid $25 is none of his business. I had overheads to cover that cost me way more than the $25 just as you do when you charge 500% markup for some things.
However, if I employed someone to sell the product, then my overhead is covered and more importantly I do not want the salesman making up prices because it may affect the market.
In the financial services market they have to declare commissions, so ask for the same.
However, small businesses are expected to have some intelligence, to satisfy themselves that it makes commercial sense, so you may be flogging a dead horse and just try to get a better deal in 5 years time.
I would also be careful because by calling yourself Energy Fraud Victim you suggest they have committed an act of Fraud, then your headline says "Total Gas and Power ripping off business customers" you might find yourself on the receiving end of a defamation suit.
You can say you FEEL ripped off or Scammed but you can't say they are doing it without some proper evidence.
Usual market practice is not fraud.
Saying 6p and charging 6p is errr....fine
If they had said 3p and charged 6p that would be another matter.
You might want to edit your posts, also you must be gutted to know others are paying 2p with the same company!!Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0
