Has anyone ever managed to order a phone off e2save.com successfully?
I only ask because I've tried to order a phone from them twice, and on both occasions the phone I've chosen has been out of stock and I'm told the delay will be 7-10 days. After a week I get another e-mail offering me an inferior phone with an inferior offer.
My impression from this is that they advertise fantastic offers and once they get you on their books, they then try to sell you something that isn't as good.
I'd like people with good experiences to tell me that I'm being unfair!

I think you have been very unlucky.
Ordered few phones from them in the past and they have always arrived - albeit sometimes without the promised accessories
If you prefer you can always get Carphone warehouse to match the offer at e2save under their price match promise. Given that they are the same company there shouldn't be any problems0 -
Right, thanks for that. As it turns out, I've just been reading the thread about the 3 network and have been put right off, so I'm actually thankful they haven't managed to complete my order!0

Ordered a 6680 on 3 for the wife the other week when they first came out, ordered Thursday evening, dispatched Friday. Got CityLink to send it to her work, so it turned up Tuesday.0

I ordered last Thursday, came Friday. In fact they delivered 2 phones with 2 contracts - so phoned up and they cancelled one and a courier picked up the 2nd phone on Monday (at their expense of course).
Got the LGu8130 on 3(Three) with 500mins & 100txts for £3.99 for 11months on a 12 month contract. Then found a site doing same deal but £3.99 for full 12 months. Phoned e2Save and they said fine and are sending me a cheque for £26 to make up the difference!
Phone has better battery life than I was expecting (over 72 hours with a couple of short calls and lots of playing with new settings, etc), coverage seems fine. Live in London, no probs, drove down to Chichester, no probs.
So far so good...........0 -
I successfully ordered from e2save about a year ago and the phone turned up the next day. However their issuing of cashback is a lot less efficient. They have totally refused to pay the cashback they owe as I didn't claim on the correct form, which was only because they never sent me any forms! I'd expected this kind of excuse from a two bit operation but not from the Carphone Warehouse!!0
