ADVICE - Scottish parking ticket (euro car parks)

I'm new to the site and don't know how to add a new thread!

I stay in Scotland and received a private parking ticket from Britannia parking. I was at the gym at the time which gives you 2hrs free however I forgot to validate my parking hence the fine. I was in for more than two hrs but there is free parking after 6 so I had my two hrs and then it would have been free.

Stupidly, I contacted Britannia parking to say I was at gym and they told me to appeal, and after looking online etc I chose not to appeal and ignore letters. I've had letters from a debt collecting company threatening court action but now I've had a letter from a different debt collector threatening court action! Should I continue to ignore or just pay?
Any advice would be appreciated

Keep-on ignoring and read the Debt Collector thread. There is damn-all they can do in Scotland!

The pre-POFA letter chain might also give you an idea of the rubbish they will send you over the next few months.

Starting your own threads was also fully explained to you in the basic board info you confirmed you had read and understood as part of your signup - Maybe go back and read it...?
