No Phone Line for 3 Months!?!

I haven't ordered a BT Line. I've ordered a Virgin Line 3 months ago but there saying they cant connect me yet. But those Green Boxes are managed by BT/Open Reach arnt they?
There are Virgin green boxes, and there are BT green boxes, they each manage their own. If you have ordered a line from Virgin, then you will be waiting for a Virgin line which relies on Virgin infrastructure. If/when you get it, you wont be able to use any other provider apart from Virgin.
If you want a BT Openreach line so that you can use BT/TT/Sky etc as your provider for phone and broadband, you need to order the line from BT/TT/Sky etc0 -
I waited 6 months for a line from BT. It was a second line (so perhaps i was being a bit greedy) but 6 months is still totally pathetic. The engineers who visited (and there were many) said i should just hope someone moves out and i get the line before anyone else.
There are several new-builds nearing completion in the village. Good luck to them getting a phone line.0
