  • Does anyone have any more info on this company? I just discovered my dad has purchased from them and I'm about to start the returns process.
  • Hiya, how did you get on with the return?

Don't sit back and let these people rip you off. £189 is a lot of money.
Contact BBC Watchdog as they know about Groupon selling fake goods. I have notice fake stuff you wouldn't buy on eBay is making it's way onto Groupon. Watchdog will investigate if there is enough of you complaining to them, they will expose them and hopefully get your money back.

    I hope this helps

    Contact BBC Watchdog
Although many are complaining the goods are fake (or re-conditioned), I haven't actually seen any evidence of customers not receiving their money back on request.

Not much point contacting a TV show rather than simply obtaining a refund.
  • I just want to add that these watches aren't fake. I received mine beginning of Dec checked serial number with apple and they said it was genuine and new not reconditioned. I don't understand what you all are moaning about?
Do your checks before jumping the gun 😬
  • Gold box have been an absolute nightmare responding to my emails they've asked for proof of postage which I've now sent twice and have been told twice they need to check with the warehouse if it's been received back, I've emailed groupon and complained already, I just feel they're fobbing me off, this also was a Christmas for my son which he is now without, do they care? NO!!! Customer service is appalling and groupon need to stop allowing them to sell their stuff through them 😡
  • I bought my Apple Watch on Black Friday from gold box. Arrived within the week though after only a couple of days of wearing it I noticed the space grey colour is flaking slightly between the case and the screen.
Taken it to 2 apple shops and they have advised the watches are real but they are the original version of the Apple Watch - not a series 1 or 2 apparently. The colour flaking is a known issue with the space grey but is classed as cosmetic. There is no apple warranty on these, on their system it said my warranty was valid until 1978! but by law you have a 12month warranty on all electrical goods from the place you bought it from. I suspect goldbox have had these stashed in a warehouse for a couple of years.
I'm contacting gold box today about the colour problem to see if they will do anything - no big deal if they don't as still got it 100 quid cheaper than anywhere else.
Apart from the colour, I love the Watch, saved money on it, cash back through quidco too!
Anyone else experience issues with the colour flaking?

    Hi,

Groupon and Goldboxdeals are a nightmare to deal with. It's been 4 weeks and I have not been able to return a MacBook pro laptop I bought early January via Groupon and get my refund of over £700 as the return address provided to me is not recognised at the post office.
Sellers are Goldboxdeals. I have been trying to contact both Groupon and the Goldboxdeals with phone calls and emails (no contact number for Goldboxdeals - just emails). I keep getting different phone ticket numbers from different advisers telling me they will get back to me between 10 working days with different advises. Once one advisor mentioned someone would come and pick it up but never got an email to confirm nor turned up. I contacted paypal, but at the end was told only if the goods were damaged then they could handle it. So it's back to Groupon again. I have now finally received another address from Goldbox after 4 weeks - Unit 6, Hove Technology Centre, St. Joseph Close. Hove. BN3 7ES. I am hoping this will be the end of this nightmare. Still nothing from Groupon. I would advise no one to order any items from these crooks. Very poor customer services.
  • I recently received a number of obviously spam emails from Groupon, and then noticed a £249 debit on my Credit Card account payable to Groupon. Logged into my Groupon account and one of these Goldbox Apple Watches had been ordered without my knowledge. Contacted Groupon via their on-line chat facility and the operator advised I must have ordered as my account with them had not been hacked. Immediately contacted the Bank to advise them of the fraudulent activity on my Credit Card and they are in the process of refunding me. The Apple Watch has now arrived however there is no invoice in the packaging and I have no idea where to return the Watch to. So I have a Watch I have not ordered, my Groupon account is suspended and my Credit Card blocked.
