Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All

Some big wins today. Managed to renew my business insurance for half price by ringing a broker. I am so pleased by this and have saved myself £800 plus.
Took a second booking this week for a party which has really improved cashflow.
All the small things lead to big ones eventually don't they :)

    Hi everyone
Sorry I didn't get to check in this morning. I feel like I've had a month off work - not just an extra day. I was really tired when I woke up, and then there was a horrid commute into work for some reason. Busy day, but now I've sat down I have the strangest sense of unease and I just don't know why.
    So today I have:
    ;) Checked banking and PAD
    ;) All meals from stores
;) Registered my complaint against Sainsbury's after the disaster with my online shop
    ;) Full day of teaching
;) Meeting with the Head after work
    ;) Load of washing
;) Prepared packed lunches for tomorrow
    ;) Had a shower
    And still to come
;) crochet and an early night

Dawn, I hope that the electrician has been and sorted your switch by now.
Bob - fantastic business rates. What a saving... :j

Morning all. Lovely sunny day here so load from overnight is already out as it day before's that was on the airer that wasn't quite dry. My list for today:

Loads of DD gone out of bank, so need to update sheet
    Check FPL and surveys
    Fly lady bathroom and kitchen
    Ring builder
    Meals from stores
Found 2 tea cakes in freezer that are out for snack today
Decided to wfh, no commute :T
Try and sort bags for charity shop and drop off if I get chance

Be back later with more I'm sure. PF
Just sat down at the end of a busy day but all good here. All of above done, plus used 3 manky apples and half a jar of mincemeat in a cobbler for pud. Made bread pudding as a) excess bread in freezer and b) no cake type things in sight.

Also did an hour at the gym with DH. Been about 3 years since that happened :T builder coming tomorrow night too :D

    Great work on insurance Bob

I have the strangest sense of unease and I just don't know why.

I get that sometimes, I know exactly what you mean. I had a a horrible dream about DS1 last night and kept thinking about it this morning.

Busy day at work and a few more things listed on ebay. Some Boden and Next stuff that DS2 has grown out of so I hope they sell. We are going to the races later this month and DS2 has nothing suitable to wear so thats where the money will go.

New washing machine arrives tomorrow. The washing is starting to pile up on the bathroom floor and I am running short of knickers!!! DH will have to wait in for the delivery driver so I hope it's early.

    Right, bedtime.

Oh and I nearly forgot, I have paid back £150 that I have owed my Dad for ages. He has mentioned it to Mum a couple of times so it was time to get it sorted. Nice feeling.

Just popping into say I haven't deserted we have been very busy over the last 2 days all I seem too have done is ferry the children between various HE sessions, eat & sleep.
PurpleFairy Thank you for getting us started today.

MTC OH supports Leicester, he is a very happy bunny, he was planning on treating work to cake today.

At the main HE session we went to today we were clearing some waste ground and planting wild flower seeds, my nephew had taken his fork & spade, child size but strong like good quality adults, I used them both at differnt times, I can't beleive how much I was able to do and it made me realise how unweidly I normally find gardening tools, I am going tolook into buying my self a set of smaller tools either ladies or high quality childrens so I can start tackeling our garden.

I am planning on reading today's thread and then going to sleep.
