    Oh, I've got one:

Anyone else get people overtaking you on the motorway in the last mile before a junction, and then slowing down in front of you, as they intend to turn off?

There are a lot of judgemental posters here. I often have a similar situation pulling out of my road. I have lived here for 25 years so have a pretty good idea of how to safely pull out of the junction and I am certainly not a slouch Sunday driver when pulling away. Just up the road is a bend and if the traffic is travelling within the 30 mph limit if you can't see it you are safe to pull out. The problem is the drivers that seem to think the 30 does not apply to them, many have been clocked by the regular speed traps at 50 coming down the hill, and appear from nowhere right up your rear end. This is also a place where loads of kids are crossing on the way to school. It has got worse recently with the building of a couple of hundred houses at the top of the hill and it is often the school run mums that are the offenders here. Luckily I can drive with my left foot on the brake pedal and right foot on the accelerator :p

molerat - time how long it takes you to hit 30. Anyone can say 'I'm no slouch' but that doesn't quantify it. Speeders have no excuse, of course.

Donald Trump tried saying that - look where it got him.
