Try DIY Kitchens....they look decent and the reviews for them have been good. The other good thing is that they come ready built.
Yep, second this. Used them in our last house and felt they were great in terms of quality, value for money and service. We fitted them ourselves and it wasn't too bad.0 -
You could also rip your old kitchen out yourself, saving trades people time and you money0

And sell the old kitchen. People will buy it even just to get the cabinet carcases. Make even £50 on it instead of it going in the tip.
We are doing an Ikea kitchen and fitting it ourselves as it is designed to be fitted by the customer.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

For a small kitchen of around 8 units, you should be able to easily complete the job, fitting as well for under 4K. +1 for DIY Kitchens also but don't forget to measure up properly first so you know exactly what you need. To get your kitchen even cheaper, don't have any drawerline units and try and get a larger base unit with double doors rather than 2 smaller ones, also get colour matched units so that you don't need as many end panels. That will save you a few pennies as well :-)0

What door range did you get?
We are in the process of buying an ikea kitchen for our rented house but we are only getting 13 units, and it's coming to £1700 with the cheapest worktops, no appliances and without even a sink/tap.0
