Reclaiming Egg PPI

I am pretty sure that I paid PPI on my Egg credit card but have no paperwork. Given that Egg no longer exist, is it of any benefit to me to use a claim company rather than try and investigate myself? I'm not being lazy, equally I'm not swamped for time to do the legwork. Advice much appreciated!

Thanks for the quick reply. How did you go about it please? And roughly how long did it take out of interest?0

He complained the PPI was mis-sold and gave his reasons. The Bank had eight weeks in which to respond to his concerns. Interest is 8% simple.Anna-Louise wrote: »How did you go about it please? And roughly how long did it take out of interest?0 -
Egg was taken over by Citibank.
Their website has details of who to send a complaint to, however I don't have enough posts to my name to post a link.
I would always advise not using a CMC. They don't generally do "legwork" anyway. Just get the FOS questionnaire from their website0
