No leave it in the boiler and then put a cable from the boiler live to the nest live connection
  • I bought a Nest 3rd Generation Thermostat and I need some help with my wiring. At the moment I have a controller Sunvic 207XL with 5 wires, Earth, Live, Neutral, Heater On and Water On. In addition to that i have a mechanical thermostat with two wires 240v. In the boiler room i have a junction box with some sort of relay and two electronic valves, one for water and one for radiators.

How do i connect it to the nest

I was thinking about E, N , L i know but heater on should go to no 3 and water on to no 6. what about the existing mechanical thermostat wires where do i connect them

You will need to remove the room stat cable from the wiring centre in the airing cupboard and replace it with a link.
  • Hi All,

I have a Honeywell thermostat T6360 - it controls the heating and is connected to a combi valliant boiler 937, it is used only for heating.
How can i replace this with a NEST thermostat, i understand i need to install the Heat link mycurrent wiring is

    honeywell T6360 - wiring
    Live wire - terminal 1
    Neutral - terminal 2
Earth is going into earth slot
Black wire is in Terminal 3

    Heat link.
    I assume i do this
    Live in the L
    Neutral in the N
    Black wire goes to 3
What goes in the 2? in the heat link which is the common? do i need to put a loop from L to 2? or will it work with just 3 wires (L, N and black wire in 3 call for heating)?

Please advise thanks for the help,
