Wiring Nest Heat Link To Combi Boiler

What model combi do you have?0

I admit that my attempt of installing the Heat Link has been a total fail and im gonna call an installer to do it for me.
In the meantime I can't get my old wired thermostat to work on my combi boiler. Can any of you good people point me in the right direction in getting the heat back to my house.
I have the common in terminal 26 and the earth in terminal 25. Can any of you tell me which terminal the live and neutral go in?
thanks.0 -

If you've got a permanent live and neutral to the heat link, then the remaining black wire could be the call for heat - you'll need a small jumper wire between the live and common on the heat link. Earth to earth.
Although I agree with the other poster it sounds like you were out of your depth before you started this and might be better off getting an installer in!0 -
If you can't remember where the the wires you disconnected came from it's not looking good.
In the future take pictures and draw diagrams of what you are dismantling.0 -

Also plan where the new thing goes before starting by checking the current setup is to the standard wiring diagrams for the products.0

Looks like im having the same problem regarding installation to a combi boiler.
Existing boiler:
Valiant Eco Tec Pro 28 Combi Boiler
At the Boiler we have a L/N/E which is spur controlled.
Room Thermostat is 2 wire connected across to 3-4 (240 V) in boiler
I have Installed the new nest to the wiring diagram that they have provided in the booklet.
Nest Control Unit - Permanent live to L, which is then linked over to 2 on the control
Live in boiler connected to 3 - Nest Control
Room thermostat to T1- T2
Boiler works through next control and that's working as intended
Problem is now that i have no hot water because the combi boiler needs permanent live. If i connect permanent live back to boiler this will mean that i now have a perm feed L - 2 - 3 in nest control?
This does not seem right
Does anyone have any clarification or answers regarding this?0 -
Have you taken the boilers permanent live out and put it into the nest?0
-
Yes, the nest booklet shows that the live terminal in boiler goes to no 3 at nest control.
I now have the live feed at the nest control and the live at the boiler to no 30
