Now that customer services, financial services, public services and health services are no longer allowed to use premium rate 084, 087 or 09 numbers, it is fast becoming irrelevant whether calls to 0845 or 0870 numbers are included in allowances.

...thats interesting - my daughter was with BT for line and O2 for b/band in her previous house -when SKY took over the b/band from O2 the cheap deal was only for 12 months..it then went up to £7.50 per month.

I think I have worked out, that even with 6 months to go on line rental saver, I am better off going to Sky with their 12 months free offer on broadband and mandatory line rental.

No one off costs etc.

Sky will cost me £17.40 a month for line rental and free broadband where I am paying BT £29 for Broadband having already paid line rental up front. I've already cancelled BT Sport today so will have reduced my outgoings by £23.

I knew they were more expensive when I signed up. I just didnt realise how much more expensive.
