  • I have resorted to using the baylis and harding body butter on my feet as it takes ages to rub into my skin and absorb, and on my feet i can just slather it on as thick as possible and put socks on and leave it.

Also, it is advertised as smelling of rose, ylang ylang and patchouli and quite frankly, it smells like a concoction of several different cleaning products! :(

I'm just not getting round to using it after my showers which means the 2 shower gels I'm using right now are going down and I'm just not getting any closer to moving on to the moisturiser that's supposed to go hand in hand with the shower gels.

I'm applying the baylis and harding to my feet as and when i remember(this could even be twice or 3 times a day) just so i can say au revoir to the tub sooner rather than later! :rotfl:

Ooops forgot to congratulate Lou85. Senior moment. How lovely.

    Congrats lou85 :)

    2 UU to report:

H&M split ends repair conditioning mask sachet- WBA if can find again. Love the smell of this, it's really fruity and fresh and I can still smell it in my hair when it's dry. Does an okay job.

Avon advance techniques colour protection shampoo- WNBA completely dried my hair out and made it feel horrible. Didn't smell of much either and it was hard to get it out of the bottle (to be fair it was the older packaging).

Eta I have one in, lush Turkish delight shower smoothie - the large pot.

    Thanks for the WBs. :)
A quick 'it made me smile', a pal passed on a FB post about 90s Rimmel lippy shades that were a teenage must- Heather Shimmer and Coffee Shimmer.
I wore them both in the 90s and I think I still have them somewhere. Except I wasn't a teen, I was 32 in 1990. Ahem.

I was a teen in the 80's and the on trend lippie then was 17 Twilight Teaser. Did not suit me at all. My straight up no nonsense Northern Dad said I looked like a corpse.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have been quietly confident that my shower gel/body wash/bath foam/ body lotion stash was decreasing nicely, so I didn't feel too guilty about my little treat last week, but this morning in playing the game of hunt the escaped tablet charger I found lurking in a small drawer that I thought was empty:-

300ml The Righteous Body Butter, a 125ml S&G Heel Genius and an almost full 125g Jason Vitamin E Cream, they were accounted for as INs a long time ago, oh well I will take the Jason cream away with me and earmark the body butter to start when I return. Not sure about the Heel Genius, I usually manage fine with body lotion and anything that I have got tired of and needs using up :(

Does anyone else think that they still have any surprises lurking?

I've no doubt I do. Every time I dig out a different handbag I find a lip balm and hand Creme I had forgotten about!
I keep a full-on spreadsheet of my stash and I don't think I'm the only one so there are probably a few of us who love a list! :p

Fellow spreadsheet-er here! I love keeping my colour co-ordinated lists :rotfl:

  • Have applied the baylis and harding to my feet twice today and i think that has helped me hit pan on it, just! :D

Will hopefully be saying bye-bye to it by the end of the week.
  • Used up make up remover micelluar gel used up- it left a sticky feeling on the skin. It was a travel sized bottle.

Used up cicaplast balm- it is alright and very soothing. It might be useful as it got rid of the stingy feeling post acid.

    Congratulations lou85.

A relative of ours turned 40 and suddenly went through a phase of wearing totally corpse-like make up. A few of us girls in the family dropped hints, until finally my hubby (who I must hasten to add has a very good relationship with this relative) greeted her one day with 'do you have a cold or are you wearing your death-warmed-up lipstick?' Needless to say aforementioned lippy was never seen again.:rotfl:

  • Congrats Lou85! What wonderful news!

My Lush order arrived so I have INs.
    5. Spring Cleanser, from the Kitchen. Used this today. Similar consistency to the 9-5 but a bit fresher.
    6. Pop In the Bath Bubble Bar
    7. Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb

I also have a little UU.
    4. Hydromol cream, mini. Got given this at work by a nurse when I had a stubborn dry patch on my hand. I finished it up on my elbows.

    And one GA.
    2. MUA Skin Define Hydro Define Foundation. Just does absolutely nothing for me. No coverage. Never feels like it settles in either; it feels wet all day. Given up and passed to SIL to see if she can find any use.
Used my Dirty Works Buttery Salt Scrub in the bath today - sold in Sainsburys. It's really nice. I also used L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil for the first time afterwards and can see why people rave about it. My skin feels lovely! :)
