No Buying Unneccesary Toiletries May 2016

I'm in for May - thanks for the new thread. I have no likely UU's on the horizon for May but I will keep plugging away at my 7 by Summer products:
1. Nivea Cleanser - bottomless bottle. I have had this since at least 2002 and there's a reason it's never been finished.
2. Boots Mango Body Butter - made a good dent in the 200ml pot. Sticking to minis in future!
3. Prestige blusher in Pink - top right hand quarter is entirely gone
4. Clinique mini lipstick in Nude Pop - hardly used
5. One eyeshadow from No 7 mini palette - got 2 good dents going
6. 17 gel effect nail varnish in Long Island - not much progress
7. Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo - half way through
Two INs:
L'oreal extraordinary oil sleeping mask - this is lovely, I uu'd an extraordinary oil moisturiser earlier in the year and once I've worked through some silly purchases sitting in the stash, I will go back to it.
Revlon lipstick in a dusty rose colour, love it - am going to go through my lipstick "collection" and TA everything elderly that doesn't suit me. I realised that part of the reason I never wear lipstick is because my stash is mostly made up of free No7 lipsticks in browns and bright pinks that don't suit me at all. Time for a change :T0 -
Copied from April:
My 7 by summer list is:
Benefit long wear powder shadow in call my buff (pan)
Benefit long wear powder shadow in kiss me, I'm tipsy
Benefit long wear powder shadow thanks a latte (pan)
Benefit long wear powder shadow in gilt-y pleasure (pan)
Paul Smith Sunshine (won't UU but want to remember to wear it every day)
Tony & Guy Sea Salt Spray
Any face mask that I buy (I'm terrible at buying and then leaving them sit in the fridge!)
My list is slightly unconventional but I find this is what works best for me. I feel guilty if I don't use them if they're on a list here so I guess whatever works eh!
It's all going pretty well and I'm using everything regularly. I'm finding the eye shadows are now really difficult to get onto my brushes so am struggling with them.
My PP list for this month is:
Superdrug Cocoa Butter
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream
Benefit Toning Lotion
Benefit Total Moisture Face Cream
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Out -- Superdrug deodorant. I really like these and find them fab value for money.
- Original Source hand wash. Replaced with Superdrug hand wash.
- Contact lens solution.
Ins -- I found a Dove deodorant and I have no idea where I got it from. I am assuming it would have been a free gift as it's a compressed can and I know I would never have purchased it. Trying to UU as quickly as possible because I hate the smell/taste (yes it's one of those) and it's tested on animals and that makes my skin crawl.
- 2 x anti-dandruff Superdrug shampoo for the H2B
- 2 x Superdrug shower gel for the H2B
- 1 x Superdrug hair dye (half UU already, will apply for tonight for more colour)
- A lip balm tester which I think is Liz Earle. The packaging it's in is awful (a tube like caramax) and it's so difficult to UU. Is nice once on my lips
The shampoo and shower gels were essentials as the point of going to Superdrug was to purchase them as the current bottles are on their last legs. Bought 2 due to the offers.
Also noticed I have a clear Superdrug obsession.. but what's not to love when it's cheap, cruelty free and close to home!My debt free diary

Yeah, I have a paper list in my make-up drawer and a use-up list on my blog. I love my own lists, but it's harder to relate to others'.
Shall I start a Make-Up Inventory thread, then? 'Thank' if interested (which is not a commitment to join in:) )Elizabeth

Sorry bit late UUs for April are

3. Boots mango and orange blossom body butter 200ml WBA but discontinued. this was lovely and I don't find body moisturisers I like very often.
4. Umberto giannini pure beauty shampoo 75ml WNBA - nothing special, only bought cos it was on clearance.

I'm in again!
I've been very quiet in April as I've been so busy so only just caught up on the last 2-3 weeks worth of posts!
Muse were amazing!
I hope everyone who has been sick is feeling better and getting some good news soon.
Fiasco, really sorry to hear about your loss. My mum has been ill recently and until she finally got to see a doctor I was fearing the worst. Thankfully it is nothing too serious but it did hit home to me how old she actually is and that she should start taking it a bit easier these days
On a more positive note, I'M PREGNANT! :d:d:d Finally able to start talking about it now that the first scan is complete and everything is good!
Because of this I've hardly had time to be on here so although most of these were used up in April I thought I'd post here than go back to an old thread:
IN & OUT:
TBS Oils of Life sachet - WMBA - I liked the smell and texture of this and it did make my skin feel nice and soft. It did take a while to sink in but I don't mind that with night creams. It is a bit pricey so not sure if I'd buy it again as I tend not to spend as much on night creams as I do on day moisturisers.
UUs:
Armani She moisturiser - GWP. Wouldn't buy on it's own and wouldn't go out of my way to buy the set just to get the moisturiser. It is lovely and I probably smelled this more than the actual perfume but I'm very lazy when it comes to body moisturisers.
Silvikrin hair spray - WDBA
L'Occitane hydra cream - WMBA. I've used this for years and I do love it however I think I need a change as I'm getting older. Not sure it's working for my skin type anymore. The texture and feel of this on my skin is lovely though.
Nivea eye make up remover - WMBA - this is good however now that I've discovered miscellar water, I'd rather just use the one product for everything.
INs:
TBS Drops of Youth moisturiser - replacement for my L'Occitane one. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and I'm not sure about it. I like the feel of it on my skin but my face feels different. I feel like my make up is not holding well anymore and I don't know if it's because of the new moisturiser or because of my pregnancy hormones! I'm going to persevere and see if there's a face wash to go with it once my L'Occitane one is finished and then I'll make a judgement after I've been using both of them for a while.
Tresemme hair spray - to replace the Silvikrin one. I think this is my fav hairspray as it smells nicer than most and does a good job.
Bio-Oil 200ml x 2 - I didn't purchase these. They were gifted to me by my mother in law upon my pregnancy news. I started using them straight away and then got bored of the smell but I need to start using them again.
Cussons Mum and Me Stretch Mark Cream - free sample from Boots after signing up for the parenting club.
So only INs were to replace UUs or were free so pretty pleased about that.
Still trying to work my way through make up that is almost done and body moisturisers/butters in my stash but I'll get there.
Hopefully it won't be as long next time before I get to post#27 £2016 in 2016 = £763.61
#42 £2 Savers Club = £160
*Savers Club not included in overall 2016 savings until the tin is opened and my estimates have been confirmed later in the year.0 -
Congratulations Lou85.
I have a uu
Elemis Pro Radiance Hand Cream 20ml - this is the last of what feels like a million of these minis, I do however have 1 full size tube of it in the stash to use. I do like it but WNB.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

First UUs for May:D
L’Oreal Skin protection nourishing cleansing wipes. 1/34
IN
Nivea Sensitive Cleansing wipes 1/37
10ml Clinique Custom Repair Serum WMBA Mag Freebie 2/38
Lou85 congratulations of your pregnancy,:T:T:T:T I hope that you bloom all through it, but you may want to get more active with those body lotions as well as the stretch mark oils/creams. (Although I am not qualified to comment on their efficacy:D)
And - good to see you around again. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Glad you enjoyed Muse. Wish I had bought tickets to see Bryan Adams now too but can't afford them now (or won't buy them second hand on principal).
And congratulations. You have even more reason to pamper yourself now.
An IN today : Can of Batiste. Ours is feeling pretty light and it was on Rollback price at ASDA at £2.00.
Was in Boots local to Emma's weekend job on Sunday and saw that they are going to be selling NYX soon. Quite chuffed as otherwise I have to go into Manchester and that becomes a more expensive trip as there are so many other shops I'll visit.
Also an OUT: have given my friend my bottle of OPI Chillin Like a Villain as it does not suit my skin tone.
Repainted my nails last night and am wearing Essie Angora Cardi. Am hoping Emma will paint my toes tonight.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thanks for the WBs.
A quick 'it made me smile', a pal passed on a FB post about 90s Rimmel lippy shades that were a teenage must- Heather Shimmer and Coffee Shimmer.
I wore them both in the 90s and I think I still have them somewhere. Except I wasn't a teen, I was 32 in 1990. Ahem.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
My Rimmel lippy was Purple Pastel. Loved it!
Congratulations, Lou85Elizabeth
