I went to the Trafford Centre yesterday as MRM wanted to buy some stemless wine glasses. We had to walk through the cosmetics hall in JL and happened to spot the new OPI Alice in wonderland lacquers. One of the red colours looked suspiciously like a re-release of Off with her red. I may have bought one. In my defence though I did still have gift cards that I received for my birthday. I also used the balance on the cards towards the new wine glasses.

Have 5 products I want to UU or at least will be UUed this week:-

Elemis PCMC. Tube cut open and probably only one application left.

Yes to Carrots wipes. Pack is quite flat now.

OPI Avojuice lotion. This was on my desk at work however was no longer pumping product out. Have cut bottle open and am using all over my body.

Batiste dry shampoo. Can is very light.

Orange Tree body lotion. Want to get rid but refuse to TA.

I ALSO HAD TO CUT OPEN MY BOTTLE OF Bare Minerals Prime Time primer as it had stopped pumping. It is now depotted. Am thinking I'll try the NYX one next. Anyone tried this?
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • The inventory thread is go! Looking forward to seeing what you all add. Mine isn't too humiliating, but I still have a lot to use up before I'll be content with the quantity. I openly confess to looking forward to re-stocking with nice, new products when I've got it right down. :p

Long-term No Buys: print books, make-up, art/craft items
    Lost 8 of the 20lbs I need to shed:D

    One UU this afternoon:

Dove advanced hair series youthful vitality lightweight conditioner 50ml - WMBA this did the job well and smelled nice, did a good job considering it was lightweight and my hair gets very dry. Got another of these in stash.

That's the idea - to shock and embarrass us into buying no more!!! ;):D

I'm I'll in bed at the moment, but will get to the new thread asap. :)

Not to offend but why would anyone want to post their list and be humiliated or embarrassed. The idea of this thread is that people can use things up in a supportive and positive manner. You can easily post your list here rather than having another thread. I used to list everything but was the ridicule of a member of this MSE who posted my list on their blog. We all have vices mine is skincare and toiletries.

    Congratulations Lou

    INs
    1 face wash
    1 face moisturiser
1 face emulsion ( need a day moisturiser)
    1 face essence
    3 face peeling swabs
Sanctuary heavenly days bubble heaven which was from mom as she will never use it.
1 more order to come in and then that should be it for the month. I need to be good.

    UUS
    1) leader amino sheet mask WBA very hydrating, no scent and it lasts for over 30 mins.

2-4) Nature republic the first essential sheet mask WNBA

    5) urban Veda radiance hydrating toner WNBA contains alcohol which I finds makes my skin greasy. Still another 3 bottles to go.

    6) Body shop ginger shampoo HG WBA

    7) swarscoft biotin conditioner WBA nice enough, 2 more in stash.

    8) Lush Lord of Misrule shower cream 1KG bottle WNBA Hurray so please to finally be at the end. Why I thought buying a huge bottle was a good idea. It smells beautiful but that's where it ends. It has way too much dye in it so I can't use it in the shower for fear that my shower curtain will be dyed green. It keeps separating and has to be shaken to get it to be an even consistency. It does not foam well. Can't use it as bubble bath as it does not bubble. Why lush think it is acceptable to sell a product that separated I have no idea. Lush have launched a lot of their new shower gels as creams and the quality is crap, will never buy again or any other shower cream.

    9) Lush 93,000 miles shower jelly WNBA not a scent I enjoyed, I found it too overpowering.

    10) Lush hot milk bubble bar WNBA an old one that is not a favourite.

    11) Anatomicals face wash WNBA dried my face out too much so repurposed it as a bath cleaner.

    12) Rubbing jelly scrub WNBA did not do anything and did not scrub.

    13) Glam up hair ampoule WNBA another product that really did not seem to do anything. Contained alcohol which I find dries my hair up.

    14) Mediheal IPI sheet mask WNBA good fit, saturated and relaxing.

    15) Lavender cold pressed soap WBA when I use up my soap collection.

Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Sam.4000 Someone posted your list on their blog?! That's so rude!
I don't mind the idea of a separate thread but I also am quite happy to nose through people's lists when they post them on here. I think I posted a list when I first started but now just keep track of my total stash on here. My spreadsheet is split into categories though so I could easily do one again.
If you want to post a full list again you jolly well should! When I did mine nobody said anything mean and mine was definitely one of the bigger stashes. I'm just glad to have broken the back of 500!! :)

    UUs:

L'oreal Everpure shampoo - love this! WBA
Indola 4x4 Heat Protectant Spray - HG - already got my replacement bottle ready
TBS Coconut shower gel - hate this - very gloopy and reminds me of a bodily fluid *ahem*
La Savonnette soap - okay - the remnants are stuck to the new soap so there's no waste
Rimmel scandal eyes paint - dried up - always applied patchily, wouldn't buy again. The colour payoff was poor.
Brow gel - dried up - about two months ago it starts drying visibly in my eyebrowhair. Big no from me!
Bourjois Volume Glamour Push Up Ultra Black mascara - dried up - wnba - not a patch on my fave l'oreal mascara

    Some INs (mostly samples WP):
Clarins face wash sample - tiny - will probably only take a week or so to use
YSL youth serum sample sachet - interested to see if this will be nice. guess it's one of those things you probably need to use for at least a fortnight to see a difference.
YSL Elle x2 - my favourite perfume ever. half price in debenhams so stocked up! stored safely in the fridge until I'm ready to use them.

    On the way:
Hello mouthwash mojito - my fave
Natural source pineapple shower gel - because I'm already halfway through my current bottle
Pitrok - close to finishing current bottle
Umburto giannini curl friends moose - love this stuff and have missed it, essential for summer air drying hair

Interesting to know about the toner. I was looking at them on Latest in Beauty today although was leaning towards the Soothing one as I have the matching moisturiser. I think the Soothing is alcohol free but will definitely double check now!

I agree about the Lush shower creams. I'm a relatively recent Lush convert and I thought surely the creams will be as good as the gels but they aren't. I'm always scared Prince Charming will dye me pink! It's the only shower cream I have of theirs ATM thankfully. I did have Yummy Mummy but gave it away as the smell really wasn't my cup of tea once it hit the water.
I think with Lush overall I'm learning what does and doesn't work for me. I can't get to grips with solid facial products like Full of Grace. I like the feel of it once it's on but its so messy compared with a normal serum. I'm really struggling with Fresh Farmacy too ATM. If they made a liquid version I would be on it like a shot because it's soothing and smells lovely but I just keep dropping it no matter how big or small a chunk it is! Sometimes I have to admit defeat! :)

    1 recent UU

Lush The Comforter Shower Cream 100g - I was pretty impressed with this since it's lasted me until now after opening in March. For me I found that a little goes a long way. I thought the scent of the product was also lovely and fruity. I got this from a friend but I would definitely consider buying this myself if I didn't have such a huge stash.

Also I finally counted my stash and it's huge. There's 232 total products and I'm not counting hair styling products, nail varnish, make-up, or perfumes and body sprays. I am posting further details below.
