DLA my parents have helped me out mostly. So would I have to make a joint esa claim. Should I get advice from CAB to? Thanks0

You will need to get a fit note from your GP to start your claim which can be done by phone. After approx 13 weeks you will be assessed as to whether you meet the requirements and which group you. go into

Hi All,
Sorry if I sound like a doughnut but I am unsure of the following:-
I am a vocalist and if I earn say £200 in Jan and £100 in Feb and 0 in March for example for my gigs, do you minus your equipment ( as I had to buy new equipment which outweighed what I earn't) . So my question is do you say I am earning but have earn't nothing? Of do you not deduct your expenses? And the fact that I may not earn anything for months, what do you tell income support ? Thank you all so much in advance for your help........:)0 -

I'm not clear what the basis is for you claiming benefits. Simply being in receipt of lower rate DLA doesn't give automatic qualification.
