    I'd also be a bit nervy knowing they'd always know where I lived ;)


    I would also expect cress to grow in the carpets within a week of moving in, and rotting fish to be hidden in the curtain poles lol.

    if i were the seller, for sure I'd probably accept that, as i wouldnt want to risk losing my new home, or go thrugh the hassle of selling again..... but I'd make sure you easliy spent 5k looking for that fishy smell from the heating for the next few years !!!!

    You want the house, you offered what you thought it was worth, trying to save 5k is below the belt in my opinion !!
