How to get to Spanish F1 2016 (Circuit de Barcelona) from Lloret de Mar

Hi All,
I am attending the Spanish F1 in May 2016 :j. I am staying at that Santa Rosa Hotel in Lloret de Mar Barcelona. My Partner has broken his ankle so we are looking for a company that might offer the service of a hotel pick up and drop off at the Circuit de Barcelona. Does anybody have any suggestions for companies that might provide this service.
Alternatively would it be easier to try and find our own mode of transport?
Any advice will be much appreciated.

It is a 75km journey to Barcelona from Lloret so a 150 km trip with a wait during the day is going to be very expensive. I would suggest emailing the hotel and asking if they can recommend a car service and find out how much it might be. A closer hotel would have been better but I suspect they were very expensive that weekend.
There are regular buses to Barcelona but I assume the injury makes that an impossibility? There is no rail service from Lloret so you would have to take a bus or taxi to the nearest station Blanes but once you arrive in Barcelona you would still have to make your way to the circuit itself. That is going to be another issue, there is a shuttle bus service from the northern bus station but to get there would require either a metro ride or another taxi. There is a warning that traffic can be very bad and to leave a lot of time, this may also increase the cost of a car service from Lloret itself. Best of luck!0 -
Thanks Alan for your response.
The travel company I booked with have suggested a company that provides a shuttle from a hotel which is 10 min walk away but I'm still worried that 10 mins is going to be a strain on crutches to get to. If I don't find any other companies that can provide this type of service though it might be our best option.0 -
Yes it does, unless hiring a car is an option? Just how is he going to manage at the event itself and have you advised the airline, if its Ryanair and he has a large 'boot' he may find sitting in many of their seats quite difficult!0

The event has disability access so this is fine. I have also contacted the airline to let them know and pre-booked assistance.0
