Can I get my money back for these flights?

Hi guys. Very long story short, I booked some flights for a weekend away with my (then) gf to Europe flying from the UK with Flybe.
This was 2 weeks ago and I paid with a credit card.
We have since split up. I've read the T&C's on Flybe's website and it appears there are no refunds. I have emailed them to explain the situation but as yet have not had a reply.
I was just thought I would ask you guys on here if I have any recourse at all or will I just have to accept the fact I've lost the money for the flights now?
Thanks in advance.

Non refundable is going to mean exactly that. Unfortunately I very much doubt flybe will bend the rules due to your unfortunate situation.
Ask them how much a name change would be and see if you can get a mate to go?0 -
Flybe allow name changes normally its about £40 for European flights.0

Is that not against England and Wales/EU consumer protection legislation?0 -
Not in the slightest, you can choose to pay a lot more for refundable and changeable fares but if you book non refundable, it means what it says. Every airline has similar rules and fares, you make your choice but have to accept the consequences. The Distance Selling Regulations which allow certain contracts to be cancelled before they are performed do not apply to sales of travel.0

You and your ex could use the flights to have separate holidays. While you would have to be on the same 'plane, there is no need to sit near each other, nor exchange so much as a single word.
Otherwise the air tickets will be a complete loss.0
