Dont feel too sorry for me working.......we live on the east coast and my place of work is a minute walk from the beach. Id rather have the days off when everyone else is at work and get the beach to myself :rotfl:

Sounds absolutely lovely! I'm so jealous. I feel the same about working weekends and holidays - I much prefer having quiet days off when everyone else is busy.

Another £30 from ebay. Let's hope the post office isn't too busy when I go later. Anyone have any experience of buying postage online so I can just drop the parcels off rather than queue up?

mumstheword*** sorry to hear about hubby.

angelicious our condolences to you :(:*

    lynnejk hope you feel better

rawdinosaur I dont, I use couriers. But I know Xandersmum does. She finds it quicker and I think sometimes sticks them in the post box? but don't quote me, I might be wrong. But I remember her saying she prints off her postage at home, whacks it on the parcel and ready to go.

Just make sure you check the weight before buying postage.

Procrastinater sorry to hear about the car. expensive things aren't they.

barnez I tend to wait until in hand, as it has been known for things to not pay out.

Surfchick80 totally agree with you, they are only little for a little while

fairyclicks have we missed your birthday? or was that JPJ birthday?

shellyosborne good luck with jewellery making. I am so not crafty.

MinnieMousesMummy good luck with studying and exam

Just checked my online banking and discovered a £5 MySurvey redemption was received today:T

Sold a book last night, I've already posted it, but it's only a very cheap one:(. Still, it's more clutter gone. Will update when Amazon pays me.

Did an online focus group last week and had a phone call this morning to confirm my bank details. Hopefully payment will be received soon.

    Hi

I came across the thread recently and I'm still reading my way through the April one, but I'd like to join in please. My target is £5.

So far I've listed some stuff on eBay but I will be trying some of the other suggestions.

Well, I've had an epic couple of days. I listed s load of furniture on our local Facebook selling site and got rid of almost all of it, at amazing prices. I must say I am amazed at what people will buy - I even managed to sell of some house plants that I no longer can be bothered to look after!!
    Total is 848, I'm staggered.

Anyway, I also did some invigilation which will pay out next month and I still have some more furniture to sell.
    Trying to keep in budget.
