Wowcher- paid for an iron now they won't give it to me or a refund

When you go onto Google you click that you agree to the terms and conditions. Have you read them all? Daily we encounter dozens of terms and conditions and do not read them.

I have been shopping online for 15 years and have never paid for a product - not tickets or a service- then found that even though they had the delivery address and the item is fully paid for that you have to do something else before you can get what you paid for.

It smells like a scam, where they hope you will not jump through their extra hoop, then not fight to get what you paid for or money back, the result being they get money for nothing .

You don't need to read the t and cs if you choose not to (and that is your personal choice and depends on how much you are prepared to risk when spending money on a site new to you)as the info about a voucher is there on each and every single page- and comes up when you order something. Even before I order the voucher that I am currently browsing it shows me:

Then when I check back through other deals I have bought it says the same on the order confirmation, again when it acknowledges the order and finally when it confirms the voucher is available to print out.

Ordered two deals from Wowcher last year. Neither turned up. I was given the run around by Wowcher. Asked for the paypal payments to be refunded (based on the fact that I received nothing) and they were, within two days. I suspect paypal are well aware of what happens with Wowcher. Never used them again, obviously.
