Whilst the original subject of the thread - forum slow on a particular day back in 2014 - is certainly an "old issue" (but a recurring one), the purpose of this thread is to query the other part of your post. Obviously I can't do it there as you have closed that thread.

From what I can see, Xilef has made 3 posts - ALL on threads someone else started.
The issue they were raising was that they were unable to start a thread.

You said they have done now, implying the issue was solved, and no further action was necessary.
You might want to check that.
