Car hire advice
Comments
-
I would just wait till I get there - most Spanish resorts have loads of local car hire places and many of them don't require a credit card. I always try to pay cash for car hire if possible, then you don't get any nasty surprises when you get home like them charging your card for a tiny scratch etc. If you have to prebook a credit card will almost certainly be required.
Consider a third party excess insurance eg insurance4carhire - most hire companies have a big excess eg EUR500-1000, and their excess waiver/Super CDW as they sometimes call it are often ridiculously expensive and exclude half the car eg tyres, windows, underside, roof etc.0
