Yes, you weren't falsely accused of anything.It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
Surely it comes down to the evidence you submitted to support all your claims? What was it?I did the congitive test. I failed to properly spell the word I was given by the assessor correctly when asked to spell backwards, and only recalled 2 words out of 4. According to assessor, nothing wrong with my memory.0

Yes, I was. It was implied that I had gotten onto DLA illegally/improperly with the precise quote being:
"on the taxpayer's teat"0 -

This is not helping your case. Surely anyone with such level of cognitive deficiency couldn't possibly be able to study at degree level, or if possible, then surely anyone could get a degree?
I am not always as bad as that. PIP is applicable for the majority of the time, not all the time. I was having extremely severe pain that day, exacerbated by anxiety, and so took more pain meds than normal. This had a knock-on inhibitory effect on my concentration (and tbh the stress of the examination itself also compounded this).
Is my concentration at times impaired? Yes. But not all the time, and I am looking to alter/"perfect" my medication in consultation with my GP to get a good balance between pain relief and minimal side effects.0 -
your top on the list
by the way it's you're top on the list.
It was a typing mistake, you have come on here to ask for help and do not like the answers.
Then please go elsewhere as is your choice.
Yes, when they are abusive towards me, accuse me of lying or making things up....then yes, I am going to get angry. When people go out of their way to be unpleasant and trivialise my disability, I will get angry.
THAT is what I have objected to, and has drawn my ire.0 -
The assessors obviously feel the same way as NLW. I think posting on here was a mistake, your post does make you sound as if you're not as ill as you really are. If you want advice on this forum you have to accept that people will draw their own conclusions and post accordingly. Reading your OP i thought exactly the same as NLW.
Demanding that people edit posts to please you is very childish.0 -
Sureley you mean "you DONT have to come on here to ask for help".... der.apronedsamurai wrote: »I am not always as bad as that. PIP is applicable for the majority of the time, not all the time. This could be part of the problem to be honest. Did you tell the assessor that you had taken extra medication - because they may well have factored that in in their decision making. Or it may have been clear to them that you had done so. In which case, they could have decided that, usually, your response (like being able to spell a word backwards) would have been different and scored accordingly
Personally, I'd take the advice to go back to the CAB for more support etc if that is possible. This is pretty complicated and to my mind you'd be better served discussing it face to face than on an Internet forum0 -
No doubt my post will be removed, but sometimes people need a reality check. There are too many having “bad days“ only when it matters and the country should keep supporting their lifestyle choise. Sorry but that boat is leaving.0

And sometimes people need to be less judgemental
Due to the few the needy suffer.0
