New 0% BT from Capital One with no fee

  • I applied on Monday & got an immediate Yes for a 5K BT, mail says I should receive the paperwork in 10/14 days & the Money 10/14 days after returning the paperwork so the 7 months now realistically is 6 Months at best.

    You can get it back to nearer 7 months by requesting a statement date towards the end of the month...
    For balance transfers:

    An effective rate of 0.00% p.a. fixed until the day after your April 2008 monthly statement...

    I posted this on another thread this morning.........

    I have just in the last few minutes had an e-mail from Capital One, it states as follows.

    Mr Vw Man
    Application Reference 1234 1234 1234 1234
    Thank you for your application for a Capital One Credit Card

    We are currently reviewing your application and need to do some final checks before we can confirm our decision to you.

    We will write to you in the next 7 days to let you know our decision.

    We may ask you to send in further informationin order to approve your application


    Is this the standard reply everyone get's who does not get an automatic 'instant' Yes when they apply........

    vwman I would think this looks hopeful and will keep my fingures crossed for your success. If I remember many moons ago I had a similar responce from Cap1 and they wanted proof of my income etc, after which I got the card. Good luck.
