Why on earth should a company that has found that you are not suitable for the position they offered pay you any more than what you have accrued?
If you were of any value to them, they would have kept you on.
Just take the money, say thank you - nice knowing you - and find another job....and this time make sure that you pass the probationary period!
i cant stress this statement anymore - ive now built up a fear whenever i start a new company...
my last 4 jobs ive been 'released' or my contract has been ended early before the 3 month mark
it does make one think 'is it me or something'
but at the end of the day this is a commercialised world and we the humans have forgotten what life is...0 -
If this has happened several times before then I'd be requesting feedback on how you could increase your performance/where do they see areas you are lacking.0

Without knowing the area that you work in, it is difficult to judge. A few jobs ending within 3 months suggests it may be that these jobs are not for you. Or it could be an industry where short term contracts are used regularly in order to save employment responsibilities.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I would look for online forums that specifically deal with your field, there are bound to be some, or google the company and see what comes up.
In some jobs, it does appear that this behaviour is the norm, and only exceptional people get to stay, in others it would be very unusual.0 -
I would also have a think about your interview technique and accuracy of your CV, I work in IT and have interviewed quite a few people who claim in depth knowledge/experience on a CV, but have failed to show it in an interview, so have not been hired.
I have seen a few people hired by other teams and let go within a few weeks/months when their skills/experience has not matched their CV/Interview.
Then again you may work in a field where there is a large turnover of staff and this is routine, but if this has happened a few times to you it does show there maybe an underlying issue/reason, at least it shows you are good at getting jobs !!!0 -
Are you applying for - and getting - jobs that you want, but are not really capable of carrying through?0
