Evening everyone
Sorry for disappearing off the face of the universe over the weekend. Minor crisis with dh on Saturday (except it was me getting in a mess this time), followed by my being buried under an 8 hour pile of marking yesterday. I just couldn't find the time or inclination.
I'm well and truly embarrassed to admit as well that over the past week I've fallen off the mse bandwagon a bit. I have fallen back into the nasty little habit of eating on the run and not preparing lunches, grabbing a coffee when I'm out, extra grocery shopping etc. I don't know if it's a coping mechanism or what but it's 4 days until payday and I'm still spending like there's no tomorrow.
:o:o
I am trying though and today I have
checked banking and done a PAD to moneybox
caught up on here
done over 10000 steps and a training session
full day of teaching
tried not to stress at work
no heating at all
bought some little mocha sachets to make my own which is cheaper than going via MaccyD to get them
made packed lunches for tomorrow.
I'm full of cold and about to go to bed, but couldn't not check in here - I think I have a minor addiction to the place...
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Monday again, how did that come round so quick! I realised this morning that I have to work late tomorrow (in a non optional sort of way) for the first and only time in about 2 years. I don't have an issue with that accept I have made my mortgage appointment for then (about 3 weeks ago) boo!!!
My list for today:
Call and re-arrange mortgage appoint
Call builder and arrange for him to come round
Left over stewed plums on yogurt for breakfast and some flax seed from use up box
Check banking, FPL and surveys
Try and list a few more things on FB/Fleabay, may try gumtr33 and FB is terrible at the moment, but not used before, will investigate
Meals from stores, so YS sea bream out of freezer for tea
Swimming later using membership with LO as I'm working from home
Do lots of work to get myself ahead for the week
Now appointment not tomorrow, do a BT on CC3 so I'm not paying interest (just started)
Think that's all, check back later. PF
Done everything apart from lots of work
and builder. I called but got an overseas tone. Will try again later in the week. Thanks for the link Legomum. Will sign up later. Off to read done diaries and post on mine.
MTC it drive DH mad people not responding when he was job hunting. Particularly in the world of email how easy it to do. Keep going.0 -

Bob - re the job. Yes it was the job share
It was really stressful for my colleague while I was on holiday as she was working f/t and apparently it didn't work out for the employer either. The saddest thing about that position is she has decided she doesn't want to work at the moment, so the op of working with her has gone...

Really am sorry. It sounded such a good set up. Will you look for a full time role in that general professional area now or go back to part time that works around DgD?" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Today has been rather spendy, my car needed a new radiator and related costs and we also replaced our combination oven that went kaput over the weekend, the model that we wanted was hard to find as a new model is now available, which we didn't want as it didn't have all the features we use as well as being a couple of hundred more :eek: Thankfully we had money put aside but I will be looking to refill the pots as soon as possible.
Our hall window sill was over flowing with paperwork as well as bits and pieces that are for friends and family, either returning or passing on. It was like an archaeology dig, their were so many layers deep down I came across an envelope addressed to me from Ziggy with some resources for us to use when Home Edding. Thank you Ziggy for thinking of us, your a star :A
