No it came before universal credit and is mandatory for all on jsa.

Hi, thats true its a part of you JSA claim to have a UJM account but there is a box which is ticked or un ticked cant remeber which which stops them looking at your UJM account.

IMO the best thing to do is to let the JC see the UJM account so they can see your job searches , as for three jobs a week i was led to beleive it was up to the person advisor to say how many jobs per week.

Its hard enough looking for work, so the above should keep the JC happy.
  • Also if they want to mandate you to do something it has to be in writing. Otherwise there is no proof to send to the dwp decision makers.
Work programme providers cannot sanction you themselves, they can only raise a doubt about you with the dwp who then make the decision to sanction or not.

Sounds to me like they are just looking for evidence of your job searches. As long as they dont specifically ask for your password then whats the problem?

Because it's perfectly possible to show full evidence of job searching without going anywhere near UJM or logging them into a personal email. I did not use UJM to join search because it's a useless system, but I was not going to risk sanctions by telling them that.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Well I cant think of a reason for them not to trust people not to tell them the full truth.
