Creditors can't see ML checks so they don't matter. I'd assume Clearscore recognise that as part of their algorithm but as I'm sure you already know, their score doesn't matter either.

Indeed, what matters is up to date accounts with no late payments to creditors searching.

I only mentioned ML as Virgin Mobile done one on a change of address ? Strange as a current customer, but hey hoe.

    Only 401 =/ Negatives:
You have made more than a few applications for credit in the past year
You have no active credit card accounts

Financial link with my mom?! It's a shame ClearScore doesn't use Experian. Equifax seems completely useless. Previously I spent ages getting my dad's direct debits removed from my account & now my mom is linked
    Mortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
    Cashback sites: £900 | £30k in 2016: £30,300 (101%)

A DD is not a financial link.

A actual joint account is showing, do you share the same initials with either parent ?

Either that or electoral role information.

The DD was a previous issue, my dad's (and his defaults) showing on my account with them being really anal about removing them...despite 1 of the DDs/accounts starting when I was like 8 years old.

I share forename + initial (A vs DA) + surname with my dad...complete retards to name me after himself
I share Inital with my mom. The other name is probably fraud on my mom's side but would hope it's from long ago so surprising it's flagged up now. Presumably they will remove it as I've not had a sex change.

The financial link shouldn't exist unless my mom's secretly marked me as a guarantor for a loan or something

I share all initials with my old man, sometimes I get refused pending further checks due to DOB and first name differences - whilst annoying also reassuring, always approved manually after check (becoming less and less since rebuilding a new file in my name again in last 2 years - recently only EE flagged up).

He has a excellent history/electoral over 45 years in one address, that has worked in my favour 10 years after defaulting on a loan through illness and this falling off my credit file 5 years ago.

Dispute anything showing your name with others and ask for proof of your signature on such reported joint/linked accounts.

Data Protection Act means any info to do with anyone you have no financial link with should not show...point this out to Clear/Equifax.
