When to covert Sterling to US Dollars

We are travelling to New York on 8th May and although I have some dollars spare in my travel wallet (you all have a travel wallet like Martin says??), we need some more.

Do you think its a good idea to get them before the EU referendum or after? The President certainly seems to think we should stay in so maybe an idea to get them before 5th May

I think you may be getting your polling days mixed up.

Sorry, you are correct, it`s MSP elections up here in Scotland on 5th May - polling cards came in a while ago and I just assumed it was for the EU referendum - off to get some dollars
