TalkTalk Woes

Shortly after the hack of TalkTalk back in October 2015, I had a number of problems with the TalkTalk service, some of which (at least) seem to be down to the now crippled Talk2Go app.
I had enabled the 'Follow Me' feature of Talk2Go but with Talk2Go no longer working, I hoped to set-up call diversion by getting a 'boost' package. Call Divert is not compatible with the 'Follow Me' feature of Talk2Go but I cannot disable 'Follow Me' as Talk2Go does not work!
Similarly, my TalkTalk voicemail does not work even though it is enabled, so I have to use the call recorder on my phone, which means I miss calls when I am using the phone, especially as call-waiting does not work either! I think this is also down to the problem with the 'Follow Me' on Talk2Go.
TalkTalk had promised to get Talk2Go back on-line in mid-January but they no longer have an estimated date for a fix.
45 hours ago I went into 'My Account' on TalkTalk and disabled the last caller barring feature as it was not working correctly. TalkTalk tell me that the feature is now disabled but I still have access to it and when I look at My Account it says the change is still pending.
To add insult to injury, my TalkTalk telephone password was changed without any request from me and, today, I received a virus scam call (claiming to come from TalkTalk) giving me my name and address.
I called TalkTalk to cancel the service and they agreed to do so without penalty even though I am still in contract. But when I attempted to switch I could not as capacity had been reached in 'cabinet 11' for fibre.
I am pretty sure some ofd these problems could be solved if they closed my account and re-initiate the line as a new customer, but they don't seem willing to do that.
Any ideas anyone? I cannot switch to any other fibre provider though it would be possible to go to ADSL but that would mean 2 Meg speeds at best, which is insufficient for requirements.

Hiya Paul,
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. If you were already registered and using Talk2Go the service should still be working for you. Could you contact us on twitter (@TalkTalkCare) or on our online community so we are able to take a look at this for you?
Thanks,
Emma“Official Company Representative

After the Cyber Attack, I removed one of the registered mobile phone numbers but this had the unfortunate effect of removing the only other mobile number registered. Since then, I have not been able to re-register. The Talk2Go app is no longer in the Play Store.
I will follow your suggestion and ask my question on the TalkTalk Community website, thank you.0 -
