Yep. We're only supposed to have five but can pop the odd extra one up temporarily. There are enough new posts coming in now to keep the Coffee Shop at the top of the listings in the forum now. The Old Style Description will unstick before the end of the week.

We'd really like to keep this one as a sticky... so we'll be looking at perhaps a single post which has all our Collections listed in it to free up a place.

Squeaky please don't think I'm moaning at you because I'm not, but if we are only allowed 5 stickies then how come the Credit Card board has 11?

Just popped back after slamming homemade meatballs 'n' pasta down the kidz necks. Got to leave them a few mins to let it all go down before I start the marathon bath relay.

    What are we talking about?

Thanks. Just the one sugar and a dash of whisky!

I have absolutely no idea. None. I had a quick look around other boards and the ones I saw were five. I'm not at all sure where it's decreed as such - it's erm, what's the word... received wisdom. I got told it was five when I first went through all the tons of new Board Guide stuff I had to learn.

It might say something in the FAQ. I'll try and find out.

We've fairly consitently had more than five here lately as a hot topic has been stickied to help people find it for a while, but we have been trying to stay at five permanent ones.

To be honest I'm not keen on seeing lots of stickies as it means less posts can remain on the front page which is a pain on busy forums as you often miss good threads ;)

MATH, you'll have to talk Squeaky into getting us a licence to serve alcofrolic beverages too :D

Mind you, if we can have coffee in the Arms I don't see why we can't have a drop o' booze in here ;)

No booze. While this is a chat area it is still meant to contain on topic Old Style posts. Just a bit more relaxed.

    :)

In fact, I edited the very first post to say so earlier this afternoon :)
