    Good grief no! Honest :)

As I said, you got mixed up in some pure frivolity by a rowdie bunch of wotsits who really ought to know better! Harumph!!

The banter you got caught up in was simply me reminding them all that this was not a purely chatty thread but should be kept Old Style.

They all know this, the minxes...

The rest of the week you'll find them all to be the friendliest and most helpful bunch you're ever likely to meet on the web. Honest :)

((hugs)) I can see how that could have happened :(

:hello: hermit-crab - please do come and have a coffee with us.

Now, in good ole fashioned style .... has anyone located any pine nut recipes yet??

I was so thrilled with me bargain ... but as the use by date is June 05 ... I only have another 2 months to use them up in ;)

Are they ok in salads, d'you think?

Oh thank you Queenie, how kind. I dont know a great deal about pine nuts, but my daughter uses them in salads and they do make a lovely addition.

moggins, you could give some to your local primary school. My grandson was planting them in school this week. Just a thought if you have more than you could use.

Or do you want me to go look for you first? :p

You could try planting them a la 3 year olds at Nursery. I have 2 sprouting quite nicely on my windowledge. I'm told they don't get as tall as 'normal' ones, but the seeds looked the same to me. Maybe they were given dwarf variety.

I shall away to my collection of healthy recipe books to peruse sections on nuts - or should that be my medical library :D:D

ps Hello hermit-crab, glad you could join us. Don't mind me and my (virtual) sister, curry-queen. We get a bit silly after an egg-nog or two :D
