    Does the immersion work if you bypass the iboost and wire it directly to the mains?

    Havent tried that and dont want to yet.
    The iboost is currently doing weird things and i suspect it.
    The immersion is working as the iboost is putting 3kw into it now, BUT i am only producing 300w and the iboost says "heating off" while doing it.
    4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.

    Have you put the clamp on right ? is it talking to the iboost??

    Yes clamp is on right and it is paired with the iboost.
    It is being replaced on Thursday.

    I've had my Iboost installed for about 20 months now and ported as of right now 2443Kwh to Domestic hot water with no issues whatsoever.

    Sender unit is still on its original supplied batteries too :-)
    4kw PV fitted 4th July 2014 (Green Energy NW £5600). WSW facing, 30 deg Pitch, Unshaded, Samil Solar River inverter, 16 Solar World Mono panels, Iboost on Immersion Heater. located in mid Lincolnshire.
