EE - Changes to the price to your broadband plan

I had an email from EE last week telling me that "the price of your home broadband and line rental will increase by £1.00 a month". However I paid my line rental for the year upfront. It's not clear whether I'll still be subject to this £1 a month hike, as it is apparently for both broadband and line rental - there's no breakdown of how this is applied (I pay for my broadband monthly).
I'm sure a lot of other people must be on the same deal as me... is anyone able to shed any light here on whether the price hike affects those who paid line rental upfront?

Usually its not applied to advance line rental but keep an eye on your bill .0

Is it £1 on BB or line rent? If it's rent it must be getting the same price as BT !
EDIT: BT rent £17.99, EE rent in December'15 £17.50
I had this email last week:
We are writing to advise you that from 1 June 2016, we are making some changes which will affect the calls made outside of your plan allowance.
Our call connection fee will move from 15p to 17p. We’re also making changes to other rates, including UK landline and mobile. All of the other great benefits of your plan, including calls within your plan, will stay the same. For a full list of our new call rates please click http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/price-plans-and-costs/ee-price-plans/advance-notice-of-price-changes.
We would like to reassure you that we are still committed to providing you with the best possible broadband service at the best value.0 -
It says "broadband and line rental", which isn't very clear, as they're separate charges. I'll have to see what happens on my bill.
The email did have the bit about increased call charges too (as given by Andy), but I don't have a landline phone, so it's not relevant to me.0 -
I only use the broadband but my package included weekend calls fro some reason, but I haven't had any emails saying line rental is going up. I am almost at the end of my contract though and thinking about moving elsewhere.0

The bill shows the full price, then applies the discounts.
I expect the full price will go up by £1 a month.
Why don't you give them a call? I called them a few weeks ago, and it was quite quick to get through.
My previous deal was finished, so they just started another deal. This means £10 credit per month for 12 months.
I also paid £189 Line Rental Saver, which seems to become a £17.50 credit per month for 12 months.
An extra refinement is I asked them to add the Line Rental Saver to the bill, so it's paid through the Direct Debit. Santander 123 gives 3% cashback for Telecom DDs. So I get £5.67 cashback for the £189.0
