so what do I do if treating it as a letter before action?

I already told you in my reply above. Search the forum and pepipoo for threads already telling you! There are responses already written.

I have replied using a template, they said the reply was not substantial and that action will be taken without further notice?!

  • Sending a letter to Gladstones will do nothing, because they do not hear appeals. Gladstones are the "Solicitor" face of Debt Recovery Plus, if it gets to the Gladstones phase it means they are going to recomend the parking company take it to court. If it's Euro it may very well go to court.

    Complete twaddle.

Why anyone would make the effort to post such carp is beyond me. Then again it takes all sorts and this poster is the exception that proves the rule. Why don't you go back to picking the wings off flies?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Gladstones don't charge enough to make it worth while actually replying to LBC replies. Essentially this will now got to court, so your LBC should just be to position yourself as being reasonable and setting the claimant up for charges
