  • Anyone got any updates?
  • The only update I've got is that Rip Off Britain appear to be finalising everything before broadcasting the show. A few different people have now told them their story and been filmed for the show. I think that we all have to remember that they are only going to highlight the problem to warn others from falling into the same trap. They cannot actually get us our deposits back. Only we can do that by getting together and taking out a class action. Check out the landlords Facebook page to see the high life he and his family are living with our money. I really want to take this further but can't do it on my own. If anyone is interested in a class action please get in touch.
  • Rip Off Britain are airing the show on Tuesday 10.10.17 at 9:15am. Unfortunately we were not allowed to name Max Estates or any of the other names Nicholas Sutton uses for his businesses but at least we have been able to highlight the problems with License to Occupy leases. If anyone is I interested in contacting me to pursue a class action or a group litigation as it's called in the UK please do.
  • Hey Everyone,

Max Estates have ceased using their name: they are running as Sutton Management.

The Registered Business Address has changed to:
    Office 7, 35 - 37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC$M 7JN. (Virtual Address)

Companies House have the following correspondence address for the Directors:
The Penthouse, 25a Vincent House, Vincent Square, Westminster, SW1P 2NB and
11 Gough Square, City of London, EC4A 3DE.

The emails are michelle@suttonmanagement.co.uk and angie@suttonmanagement.co.uk.
  • Hi all,

I myself am in the same situation as most here. I moved a month from st faiths lane norwich, and have yet to receive my deposit of £831.50.
They said in an email that they told new tenants that the deposit pays the last months rent but i was never informed.
I have been emailing Angie and Michelle for the last month trying to chase them up. Everytime I email they send back an automatee reply saying they will be back in the office the next day but then never reply.
Also apparently only Michelle can handle the finances but never replies.
I have been in contact with my letting agent who have sent numerous emails to Angie and Michelle but again no replies.
What can I do to get my money back? The flat was run inadequately; there was mould, no gas whilst being charged for it, the power kept going out every 2 weeks, no wifi, no lockers or holes for post so it was just left there.

I just want my money back and this grievance to stop!

Why should he? This thread is about Max Estates, both in Bracknell and Norwich, and him creating another thread is just going to potentially duplicate any responses. Your post is unhelpful and just rude.
