Load pre-paid card with USD

Hello,

I will be travelling to the US end of May and I am looking at the best options to convert some GBP to USD. I do not want to have to carry all the cash with me, so I am looking into options on getting a card.

As you probably know, the rate is very iffy lately, and would like to be able to pre-load a pre-paid card before my travels (whenever I find that I can get the best possible rates).

I was wondering, is there a pre-paid card that I can preload with USD rather than GBP and have them covnerted to USD? The main reason behind this is I can get a much better exchange rate getting GBP->USD Cash using ICE (for example), and then load up the prepaid card with the said USD I just converted.

No, but try looking at Revolut, you won't get a better exchange rate on a prepaid card.
