Monarch compensation

4 years ago had a 23 hour delay due to monarch plane fault. Tried to make a claim at the time but was only offered £200 in vouchers between two of us. I refused them and left the situation as it was.
After watching the programme decided to try again as i still had my orginal booking on email.
Sent the claim off with a picture i had taken of the flight screen saying cancelled next to our flight no.
I didnt write an attached letter with the ins and outs just the claim form and picture.
Monarch emailed me the same day they would have reiceved the claim to say a cheque was in the post for the max amount of £480! Brilliant news for us.
The compo money is per person too!
Worth giving another go for anyone who had a similar situation a few years back:T
