Parking Eye Ramada hatfield

Just received the fake invoice.
I was not driving. The driver plus 2 others (also with their cars) visited the bar for 45 minutes, not sure yet if all 3 got the invoices as the other 2 are overseas.
One of the others paid for the drinks, not sure if they will have proof of payment, may have been cash.
I am going to said hotel on Wednesday. Do I complain then to the manager? Should we wait to see if all 3 get the invoices? Is it better to compalin in writing?
Do we wait and see what the hotel do before the inital contact with PE?
Thanks in advance.

Absolutely you complain to the manager.0

What exactly are they claiming for. Overstaying? 45 minutes? or what.
Also, check the wording on the signs when you return.0 -

It's then between the hotel v Parking Eye but you want the scammers ticket cancelled0 -
Do we wait and see what the hotel do before the inital contact with PE?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

PCN states 'By either not purchasing the appropriate parking time or by remaining at the car park for longer than permitted'
Photos of Arrival and Departure.
I will look at signs and take photos later before speaking to Manager on Wednesday. Driver has sent a message to the other 2 to see if they get invoices too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Do not forget to write stuff, (good or bad), on TripAdvisor

Good advice from The Deep. Some previous TripAdvisor reviews of this grim hotel:
Be ware of the parking fines at this hotel, just how do delegate and guests know of the draconian enforcement, myself and my company colleagues will be staying elsewhere on our next visit to Hatfield Also first time visitors to the monthly I.A.M meetings have been caught !!!
I had my work Christmas part here in December. The food was okay, the drinks were expensive, but apparently the parking is even more so. A month after my visit I receive a parking fine for using the car park (£100), which as a guest I have every right to do? Obviously not. Not worth the stress of having to deal with, currently having to appeal a private parking company. Won't be returning
Subsequently it seems that in spite of the promises made to me by the hotel staff, I am now subject to a County Court Claim by Parking Eye in the sum on £175! I am now having to spend time and money taking legal advice to fight this claim. I think that the way that parking is arranged at the Ramada is basically a scam, and I feel very aggrieved that Ramada have not followed up on their commitment to me. Absolutely unacceptable!
Surprised to get a parking fine one month later. Rang the hotel, they apologised and said it would get cancelled. 11 months later, after hearing nothing from either the parking company or the hotel, I receive a letter from a debt recovery agency demanding £150. 2 e mails to senior management at the hotel were not answered. Incidentally, the food was forgettable, literally, and the service was friendly, but a little shambolic. Avoid.
And on and on and on. Approximately 10% of their TripAdvisor reviews are complaining about ParkingEye, many of them saying they will never patronise this hotel (or indeed any Ramada) again. When will they learn?
Plenty of replies by the management saying that they will get the tickets cancelled but some reviews suggesting that the staff may not keep their promises in this regard.
I loved this in one reply by the manager:
"Due to the grade II listed status of building we are only allowed to display a limited number of signs in the carpark regarding car parking." I'll bet ParkingEye approves of that!0 -

Visited to look at signage today. Very poor. One entrance has a simple sign, large print, could not take photos due to angle of the sun. The detailed signs are around the other side of the hotel/carpark. On the detailed side no signs obvious as you enter as they are in the bays behind you so you cuold easily park and miss them. Again no photos due to the angle of the sun.
Now have copy of receipt for the day so will go in tomorrow and complain to the manager and see what they say.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hotel said they will request PE cancel the notice. They say they do a few per week. Said I will hear nothing if it is cancelled, if not will receive another notice in a month and to forward that to them aswell.
So do I just sit back and wait? Will this affect any future popla appeal should it be required? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
