    Hello everybody.

I am just back from dentist and feeling a bit sorry for myself, today was the first of a few appointments, so not looking forward to that. ....so as I have no work to go to today, I have decided to do no housework and spend the whole day doing anything that helps the debts....and also a bit of holiday searching to cheer myself up ( not booking anything, just looking and thinking about what I can book when I get some money....). So today I am intending to.....

*List some more stuff on FB & Fleabay.

    * Search the house for other stuff to sell
    *Do some surveys
*Sign up to more survey sites
    *Eat yesterdays leftovers for lunch

I've been doing Swagbucks, but finding them extremely slow.
Recently been recommended Opinion Outpost and just cashed out my first £2.50 (in only a few days), but it shows pending to Paypal, so not sure if it will actually work, just keeping fingers crossed.

Any body got any opinions....no pun intended..:rotfl:..on Opinion Outpost survey site?
I was recommended this site and signed up and within a few days, reached enough points to cash out my first £2.50.:T It shows on the account as "pending" and says I will get an email from Paypal as soon as it goes through. Anybody got any experience with them, as to how long it might take or if I will actually get it. Tried PM'ing them via FB but no reply.

Mainly onepoll MTC. I find them quite reliable. Gave upon several including swagbucks - some people swear by it but it drove me mad!

I also use Yougov and pinecone, but I don't get that many surveys from those.

All 3 are genuine and pay out as they are supposed to. It is also very rarefor them to screen me out after answering most of the questions, as some sites do!

Ipsos ok, whom I also use, is bad for that - though I can understand that older people who don't shop much, watch TV much or have any interest in adverts are not a great catch for them :rotfl:

    Hey everyone :hello:
Well, today didn't turn out even a little bit as I had planned it to. DS was sent home from school at 11am with an injury. I took him to minor injuries and then desperately tried, and failed, to get an emergency babysitter. So I've missed my training after school, had to bring loads of work home with me and now am utterly shattered from all the running about.

    [STRIKE]:p check banking and PAD[/STRIKE]
:p leave dh a couple of jobs to do before he goes to work I got home with ds just as he was on his way to work - he's in a bad way mentally again so of course ALL of the jobs were still waiting for me
[STRIKE]:p nsd (should be no problem)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p all meals from stores[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p get 7000 steps for Bounts points[/STRIKE]
:p full day of teaching 2 lessons plus cover set
:p training after work nope - and I need to make up the 2 hours tomorrow :(
    [STRIKE]:p keep my time diary[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:p no heating at home[/STRIKE]
:p definitely no housework today :rotfl: I've done blimming loads
:p make some time for myself just about to head off to bed with crochet and marking
DS is going back to school tomorrow so hopefully all back to normal

CCL, what a nightmare - hope your DS is ok :(

    Morning all :)
Thanks for the start CCL :)
Cold and grey here this morning, which is typical as I have 3 loads of washing to do and get dry  It eventually got windy, and the sun came out a bit, so I got 2 loads dry :T

    Apart from that:
Housework - must do some, as it looks a bit of a pit after the weekend :(Done a bit - loads more to do though :(
Sales unit - this will also need a tidy. Hopefully something will have sold! Just one small sale, from what I could see...
Dog walk later - DH did the early one Done
HM meals from stores - we will need to do a proper shop (rather than just buying nice bits to feed weekend visitors, which is what I did on Friday) but I am determined to hold off doing so for as long as possible! Bits from fridge for lunch, and I made a frittata for supper, with more bits from the fridge :)
Pick and cook some more rhubarb from the garden - should be enough there for a crumble this time :)Done, made a crumble, yum! Also made a couple of tea loaves to fill up the cake tin again :)
Find something to line the metal trough thing hanging on the wall in the front garden, with a view to transplanting some strawberry plants into it. I have some of the hanging basket liner stuff, but the jackdaws pinch that to line the nests they make in people's chimneys round here  A big plastic bag did the trick - doesn't look too bad, and managed to fit 3 big strawberry plants in there :)
Any surveys, FPL etc Surveys for Yougov and onepoll today :)

SiL will be here shortly to borrow OH's truck, so better put the kettle on! He went to collect a big car with a whopping great trailer  Back safe and sound now :)

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Very proud grandma today - GS1, who has just turned 21, works as an assistant manager at one of the chain pubs. Today while he was on shift, an elderly man started choking on his meal  GS1 managed to get him to cough up the item that was causing the problem by administering first aid as he had been taught on the course he attended not long ago :D

CCL - sorry to hear you've had a hectic day, hope DS is better soon!
DawnW - fantastic and lovely to hear, very proud moment for you both :D

Was not a NSD as planned but to be fair this is because I have a memory like a sieve :(
Was FIL birthday today, with us moving into the new house and SIL signing the lease on a rented property today we opted to just have a take away (hence the NSD) a lot cheaper than what my OH would usually spend on any of her family so that was fine.
Shall text SIL just now to see how she got on
Currently watching football, DD is on the couch opposite me fighting sleep, bed in 30 minutes I think
Got a reminder that my trading course (online that I got as a gift on groupon or something) starts two weeks today - so excited for it!

It's a quiet house tonight :) nice and peaceful
